Download All Photos from iCloud to PC

You can download/import photos to your PC by connecting your device to your computer and using Windows Photos app:

  • Make sure that you have the Latest Version of iTunes on your PC. Importing photos to your PC requires iTunes 12.5.1 or later.
  • Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your PC with a USB cable.
  • You might need to unlock your iOS device using your passcode.
  • You might also see a prompt on the iOS device asking you to Trust This Computer. Tap Trust or Allow to continue.

Then steps you need to learn how to import photos to Windows Photos app:

Windows 10

 

  • Connect your phone to the PC with a USB cable. Make sure the phone is on and unlocked. If it’s an Android phone, you might also need to change the USB setting to allow you to transfer media or photos and not just charge the phone.

  • Open the Photos app on your PC (select the Start button and then Photos), then select Import and select From a USB device, then follow the instructions. You can pick the items you want to import and select where to save them.

Windows 8

  • Connect a phone, camera, storage card from your camera, or external drive to your PC.
  • Open the Photos app.
  • Swipe in from the bottom edge to see the app commands.
    (If you’re using a mouse, right-click within the app.)
  • Select Import.
  • Select the device you want to import from.
  • The app automatically searches for all photos and videos that it hasn’t imported before and selects them. You can also swipe down on or click each photo and video you want to import or select Select all.
  • Select Import.

Note: If you want import videos from your iOS device to your PC, some might be rotated incorrectly in Windows Photos app. Don’t worry, you can add videos to iTunes to play them in the correct orientation.

Download All Photos from iCloud to Mac

Photos app can to download/import photos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac without using iCloud Photo Library. These steps also work for importing images from digital cameras and SD cards.

  1. Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes on your Mac.
  2. Then connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or digital camera to your Mac with a USB cable. If you use memory card, you can use card reader.
  3. You might need to unlock your iOS device using your passcode.
  4. Continue.
  5. Photos app automatically opens. If it doesn’t, open the Photos app.
  6. The Photos app shows an Import screen with all the photos and videos that are on your connected device. But if the Import screen doesn’t automatically appear, click Import tab at the top of the Photos app, or click the device’s name in the Photos sidebar.
  7. You can import a selection of photos, click the ones you want, then click Import Selected. To import all new photos, click Import All New Photos.

Note: If you can‘t download/import photos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your PC/Mac:

  1. Check if you can use iCloud Photo Library or My Photo Stream.
  2. Check your connections.
  3. Update your software.
  4. Try to download/import a new photo.
  5. Try a different PC/Mac.
